Twin Babies Having Constipation After Introducing Solid Food. Is It Normal?

I am having twins baby. 8 months completed. After 6 months , Started to give Idli, Banana, boiled potato, cooked carrot, Formula milk. First baby is passing stool one or two times per day. That too somewhat hard. Second one is passing stool after having every food even for small quantity of intake. That too for past four to five days. Is it normal? But both are active.

Elders adviced to give honey in small quantity . Is it ok to give?

Hi,

Yes, it is normal. Please continue the same feeds for both the babies. Also, continue to breast feed them as well as this would increase the water content for the babies and help in easy passage of stools.

I would not suggest giving honey to the babies in view of bacterial contamination.

Wish you best of health.
