Hi, Welcome to HCM, i am Dr. Das
It is confirmed that you both are not primarily infertile as you have a child.
Have you tried for child by doing regular intercourse for one year?
If not, then wait. First go for natural method by doing intercourse during 10-18 days in a menstrual cycle counting the day of first bleeding as day one.
If the natural method fails then there may be secondary infertility which needs a thorough work up.
So, it is better to wait for some month and keep trying.

Infertility Specialist Dr. Nandita Thakkar's  Response
thank you for writing to HCM

The tests suggested by your gynaecologist is perfect and basic investigations needed.
I do understand that you have a child and that is 5 years ago. By undergoing the initial evaluation you can more confident if everything come back normal and try for the next few months after that.

wish you all the best
