Trouble Passing Urine. Suffering From BPH After Cytoscopy. Prescribed Silodal, No Ejaculation. Will Lead To Bladder Damage?

Hi Doctor,
I am having trouble in passing urine for the past 10 years, Doctors said I am suffering from BPH after Cystoscopy. As per Doctors advise I am still taking tablets (Urimax/Veltam/dynapress/flotral) and recently he suggested me to take Silodal 8mg. it works good for me compared to other tablets but ejaculation is not happening after taking this. This is not a concern for me since I already have 2 kids. Is there any issues due this side effect? Will semen damage bladder due to this or any other issues will happen?

Thanks

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have enlarged prostate and have been advised to take Silodal and has noticed anejaculation since you started taking this drug.
Siladocin ( Siladol) is new alphaA1 adrenergic receptor blocker located in bladder neck and prostate .
It relaxes smooth muscles in bladder neck and prostate and helps in improving urine flow.
As it relaxes the bladder neck which remains open This results passing of semen into bladder instead of entering into urethra This is termed as retrograde ejaculation. The semen that enters into bladder does not cause harm to bladder and it it gets passed out with urine .
