Treatment For Puberphonia And How Effective Is Voice Therapy?
Myself aged 22yrs ! Have been suffering from puberphonia since last 5 yrs or so ! M a resident at ranchi , jharkhand ! What wud be my line of treatment nd what doctors can i look for ? How effective will be voice therapy nd what time will it take ??reply awaited .....

My Dear, Puberophonia is change in voice which happens during adolescence as the laryngeal structure grow voice changes, however it doesn't persist for so long and disappears with in 1-2 years. If you are still having hoarseness or change in voice, I suggest visit an ENT specialist, who will look into your larynx for any vocal cord anamoly like vocal cord nodule, polyp or simply thickness
