Treatment For Lump On Palm, Numbness, And Red Splotches On Thumb?

Hi there, my boyfriend has a lump on the palm of his hand as well as numbness, he has had this for about 2 weeks. Now 2 red splotches have appeared, one on the inside of his forearm, the other at the base of his thumb. Not sure what it is, do you have any ides for us?

It can be viral infection with organism like molluscum contagiosum,
or may also be to some physical trauma. Physical examination is
mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes
that needs to be ruled out.
