Treatment For Cough And Popping Sensation In Lung

I ve had a persistent cough for 8 months now. My doctor prescribed me an inhaler (bero something), which did not work. Now I am getting what feels like bubbles popping in my lower right lung. I am otherwise a fairly healthy 23 year old. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Coming to your question it seems you have two different symptoms First is Chronic Cough for 8 months now and Bubbling sensation in lower Right chest. for chronic cough it would b worthwhile if you gt done High resolution CT Scan (HRCT) of chest because you have been using inhaler and thats not helping you. Secondly bubbling sensation can be cause of Chilladitti syndrome that is usually asymptomatic and that is not any major disease but just anatomical variant and HRCT would help in identifying that also. also if u have allergy and repeated cough and cold then that can also be cause of your prolong cough just get yourself examined by ENT.
