Treatment For Black Stools With Lung Cancer?
Hi my mother in law has stage 4 lyng cancer which has spread to the bones in the scan she had 3 days ago last night she passed two black stools whilst sleeping .. this is serious in my mind can i wait to tell the doctor in two days time ???? and coulf u please explain this to me .

If she is not taking iron supplements or pepto bismol, then black stools is a serious issue. It indicates bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract,An upper GI endoscopy should be done to find the source of bleeding.
