Took Sulfa For Bladder Infection, Indigestion Increased, Having Acid Reflux. What To Do?

I just took a course of sulfa for a bladder infection and I have had increasing and continuing indigestion: gas, some acid reflux, a feeling that something is stuck in my throat. Could the sulfa be the cause and, if so, what do I do now? I finished the sulfa day before yesterday and the indigestion is worse.

Thank you

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
these symptoms are caused by taking anaigesics antipyretics on empty stomach.
Usually sulfa preparations do not cause acidity.
To reduce these symptoms take pantop one tablet daily in the morning on empty stomach
Divol 40mg tablets 3 times daily.
Avoid spicy foods chillies and sour foods.
Take bland diet in small quantities.
Within 1-2 weeks you will be alright.
If no improvement plase consult a physician.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
