Tiny Swollen Spots On Tongue, Fever, Body Pain. Gave Diflucan. Developed Open Ulcer. Cure?

I am having a problem with my tongue. I recently had thrush from using my inhaler for asthma. I quit that for a week and it pretty much went away. Then on Monday I noticed a tiny spot on my tongue, like one of the little bud things was swollen and sore. It got worse during the day, more swollen and looked like it was bruised and hurt like anything. The next day I had a fever and my whole body hurt. I went to the doctor and he said I did still have a tiny bit of yeast, gave me diflucan, but said the other was probably a virus of sorts and nothing he could do for me. Throughout the day it just got worse and worse, looking blacker (I think from blood), he called it hemmoragic. Then it developed open ulcers and now it looks kind of pus like. My whole tongue is discolored and the ulcerous area hurt really bad. I usually really like my doc and feel like he listens to what I am telling him, but really feel at the end of my rope with this. Can you offer any guidance?

It seems that you suffer from Angina bullosa Hemorrhagica(ABH) or blood filled vesicles on the oral mucosa. These can occur due to blood dyscrasia,vesico-bullous disorders, systemic disease, cold sores, viral infections.Diseases like Pemphigoid and other similar diseases need to be ruled out.A check up by a dermatologist may help, the disease involves the border of the hard and soft palate, tongue and oral mucosa.Management may include antiinflammatory and antibacterial rinses like Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.25% to reduce pain and limit the spread.
