Throbbing In Face, Dizziness, Bleeding From Nose. Had Car Wreck 2 Weeks Ago. Normal CT Scan. Brain Injury?
My husband was in a car wreck two weeks ago today. He has went to the hospitial twice since then this last time which was last Monday two days after the wreck. He went cause his face was throbbing and he was dizzy they did a CT Scan and didn't find anything and diagnosed him with a post concussion. Now he is having nose bleeds and he has never had nose bleed before. He said the one he had today he had problems stopping it, but finally got it stopped. Could this be a sign of a brain injury. He said his head starts hurting after his nose bleeds.
Hi, As CT scan is normal there is less chance of having any brain injury. There might be having some local nasal mucosa injury or fracture in nasal bones might be giving nasal bleeding. Consult your doctor and get examined. Ok and take care.
if ct scan is normal there can be sinus injury and sinus bleed is also difficult to contrl get xray pns waters view and find the position of sinuses you can consult doctorent specialist or you can treat by antibiotics antiallergics neosporin h ointment in nose bd seawatewr 2 drops in nose bd
