If your sexual partner was diagnosed with a bacterial infection, it is mandatory for you to start on a prophylactic course of antibiotics. This should have been advised by the doctor treating your partner.
It would be best to consult a doctor for a physical examination and possibly even a laboratory examination of your semen. In the meantime, if you feel this condition could be caused by dehydration, please consume plenty of fluids.
