The Ultrasound Report S Verbiage Mentions Large Relatively Thin-walled Simple Fluid Attenuation Structure Posterior To The Urinary Bladder. How Can This Finding Be Interpreted?

ok thank you. PLease define the following verbiage taken from my ultrasound report. ..large relatively thin-walled simple fluid attenuation structure posterior to the urinary bladder measuring 15.1 x 7.5 x 6 cm with an apparent connection between the posterior wall of the urinary bladder measuring approximately 1.9 cm in width. No abnormal color Doppler flow involving this structure.

Hello,

It is possible that you may develop colovesical fistula or Utero vesical fistula. It is a probable diagnosis only but it is to be evaluated.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. To confirm if you have to get a CT scan abdomen and variogram.

Please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
