The past week I have had a pain/discomfort that initially started as dull aching pain that felt like it was behind my scrotum. I would also get pains when urinating and sharp pains at the tip of my penis. Now the pain and aches have radiated to all around my pelvic area and my lower back. My dr suggested that I have chronic prostatitis and prescribed me an antibiotic and Terazosin. After a couple of days on medication and no change, they sent me for a abdominal and pelvic CT scan. Results came back as normal and prostate does not seem to be enlarged. What could be causing the discomfort? Should I proceed to a specialist? I'm 28 yrs old.
