Test Results Showed High SGOT, Cholesterol And Glucose Fasting. What Do They Indicate?
Yes, I received my labs back today and several things were questionable.
A1CAST ( SGOT)
HBA1C-6.80 (Good or Bad)
Glucose Fasting 174 ( ok or bad?)
Cholesterol 220. ALSO : AST(SGOT) 9
Triglycerides. 259
HDL. 45
VLDL52
LDL DIRECT 155
These were fasting labs. What is your professional opinion.

All pathological reports are suggestive of Endocrine pathological condition, for better opinion we need clinical history, so it can be correlated with this, what I stated it just possibility, have nice day.

Fasting blood glucose is high, so is the lipid profile with high Cholesterol and Triglycerides.
I am not certain about the SGOT report as you may have incorrectly typed.
seems very low!
HbA1c is not done to diagnose diabetes, but to follow up once you are proven to have diabetes.
You will need to see an Internal Medicine, or Endocrinologist with interest in Diabetes & Hyperlipidaemia to start on the correct treatments.
Blood pressure needs to be checked, 12-lead ECG which if abnormal a 2-D ECHO to check the EF (ejection fraction) of the heart.
In short, a full assessment is now required.
