Tenderness On The Underside Of Scrotum With Heat And Inflammation, Bumps. What Is The Problem?

Hi there,

I seem to have noticed a tenderness on the underside of my scrotum, at the medial ridge (where the left and right scrotal skin meet) with some heat and inflammation. I disregarded it first, thinking it was from the new pants I was wearing.

However, I noticed an increase in severity of the pain (from 2 to 4) and the inflammation seemed to worsen. I had a hard time observing it as it is on the underside of my scrotum. Upon palpation, the ridge seemed to inflame and the inflammation was ascending, about 2-3 inches below the base of my shaft. Along the inflamed ridge, there are 3-4 "bumps" starting from my perinium to the tip of the inflammation. The last bump seems to resemble that of a pimple, with a white center.

I am a monogamous sexual partner for almost 4 years now, and only now has this problem presented.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
developed peri urethral abscess over your perineum.

However this can be cnfirmed only on clinical examination.

Please consult qualified general surgeon or urologist for clinical evaluation
.
Take broad spectrum antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines for a week. If does not subside you may need to get it incised and drained by a General surgeon.
