Taking Vitamin D, Gave Vitamin D3 By Mistake, Bloating Stomach, Chest Pain, Difficult Breathing, Osteoporosis
My Mom is taking vit D for a long time ago. but all of a sudden I bought a vit D3 and give it to her. after that i observe her, after lunch She is crying her stomach is bloating , chest pain difficult breathing. so I stop vit D3 for two days. now she is alright. her age is 88. but she is having osteoporosis. I know she needs vit d.could you please give some advise. She is taking Atenolol 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night and also taking misaartan tab 80mg for her palpitation and other pressure medication

The symptoms that she has could be due to allergy to the Vitamin D3. You can ask her physician to prescribe her another brand or use injectable form of the vitamin to help her. She can also take Vitamin D3 rich foods and sit in the sun to get the Vitamin naturally.
