Taking Femera Post Breast Cancer. Have Arthritis, Need Knee Replacement. Will Taking Femera Effect Replacement?

i am taking femera post breast cancer. I have arthritis really bad in my knees and need knee replacement! Would taking the femera effect the results of the knee replace: eg - adhesive for prosthesis not working properly due to taking this med? I know it can cause joint discomfort, so did not know if it would interact with the surgery.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The femera would not have an effect on the knee replacement surgery. It is not known to affect any of the areas that are concerning you ( the prosthesis not working as it should) in spite of the joint pain side effect.

If you remain concerned you can speak to your orthopedic surgeon.

I hope this helps
