Taking Doxycycline After Finding Bullseye On Leg. Pain In Middle Of Chest With Swallowing Difficulty

I have been taking doxycycline for a couple weeks after finding a bullseye on my leg. Last night after swallowing my pill, it felt like it didn't go down all the way. Today it has been difficult to swallow my food...hurts in middle of chest. wondering why

Thanks for your query.
It may be because of slight hypersensitivity reaction to doxycycline and probably you ma have sulfa-allergy. As your symptoms are not severe you may not take any medication for that but mild doses of anti-histaminic like cetirizine 10 mg once daily may be of help. You may have a try. But you should not be worried for that. It will pass off by itself within day or two.
