Taking Clindamycinin Preparation For Tooth Extraction. Feel Nausesous With Medicine. Will The Medicine React With Sun?
I am taking clindamycin 150mg....4 times a day. It does make me nauseus but mainly will it react with direct sunlight? We are at the beach and with care and common sense may I enjoy the sun while taking this medication? I just had a total shoulder replacement, April 23, and am taking the med in preparation for a tooth extraction on June 6.

Hello.Enjoy the sun while taking the antibiotic is not contraindicated but you should avoid enjoy the sun during the hours of maximum solar radiation
and using high protection cream.Nausea is adverse effect of clindamycin.
