Taking Acutret, Acne Had Gotten Bad. Are There Any Side Effects?
Im taking acutret 5 mg everyday once daily for 6 months and 20 mg for a week and once more 20 mg for a week since the acne had gotten bad. Are there any side effects? I also just finished taking a two week twice a day 100 mg course for sebboric dermatitis . Am I really putting myself at risk with all these medicines? Additionally I take glycomet 1000 mg once a day since the past 3 years. I have pcod.

Hi yes acutret have lot of side effects .it increases triglycerides.cholesterol levels hence lipid profile is done before and after starting acutret.it also causes dryness of lips along with chelitis hence moisteriser is applied daily twice to lips.it also has teratogenic effect hence used with caution in women
