Taking Avonex For MS. Positive For JCV Virus. Unable To Take Tysabri

I was dx with MS in 1985 the first medication I took was AVONEX since 1997 until 2011. I think I was beginning to feel sicker after taking it for so long and decided to stop. Since then I have tried Gilenia Tecfidera and was unable to take Tysabri due to the positive Jcv virus showing up in my blood test. I am wondering if I am putting myself in jeopardy by not taking any disease modifying drug since then. I am 66 years olfd and unable to walk without my ambulatory or wheelchair.

Hi, you was comfartable with your old drugs ,and the present symptoms might be due to the age, harmons, and advance of the M.S.
I advise you to consult your doctor, continue with your old drugs.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and proteine rich foods.
I to my such patient prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and to taper along with other drugs. Thank you.
