Swollen Feet And Hands After A Triple Bypass Surgery. Are These Related?

Hi Dr, my father had a triple bypass surgery on feb, 6th.. For the first few days his hands and feet were very swollen which we were told is very common, then the swelling went away completely until a couple of days ago when his left foot started swelling again... Can you please let me know if this is something common or what could cause this... I thank you for your time.:)

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It is common
There are several reasons - many simple and harmless like obstruction to flow because of the veins removed / some serious like heart failure.
See your surgeon

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
