Swelling In Right Hand, Painful. Treatment?

I'm having lots of swelling in my right hand, all fingers, with a good deal of pain when I try to move my fingers. Right hand looks approx 1.5 times size of left hand. Pressing/squeezing fingers is painful. Usually, swelling is in late evening to early night-time, then many times once again upon waking up in the morning. No grip in hand when the swelling/pain occurs. Left hand is fine.
Thanks!

HI DEAR AND WELCOME TO HCM....
dear there are potential spaces in the hand ,fingers and fore arm ...
in these spaces infection may occur ,leads to pus collection ,which in turn compresses nerves and other structures causing pain ....
treatment of abscess is incision drainage and anti biotics ....
i advise you to visit a general surgeon to assess weither exploration is needed or not ??? and take good anti biotics like cap velosef 500mg TDS along with pain killer like diclofenic Na .....
wish you good health ...dr siddiq ullah ...

Hi, it appears that you have arthritis of the fingers of the right hand. other reason is carpal tunnel syndrome. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, ofloxacin, serratiopeptidase, and antiinflamatories. Thank you.
