Swelling And Pain In Foot, Painful To Move Toes. History Of Painful Ankle Due To A Scratch. Any Connection?

Hi, I have had a problem with mt left foot for about two months now. It started when I came back from a holiday in Egypt. My ankle became painful and swollen on the left side above where I had had a small scratch. The dr gave me antibiotics which did not seem to help. Now there is swelling and pain at the front of my foot and my twiddle toes are painful to move. Anti inflam drugs don't reduce inflammation. Have had blood test for arthritis but not had anything reported back.Could this be related to the scratch I sustained in Egypt?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Non healing swelling from last two months , in spite of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs are an indication of some disease.
So please mention , age, weight , history of diabetes, smoking history ( hampers the blood supply ).

Few reasons are,
Improper antibiotics,
Diabetes,
Thrombosis ( leg).
Consult a physician and get in blood examination as well physical check up.
