Swallowed Chip, Had Gagging, Tried Throwing Up. Got Mouth Infection And Given Ibuprofen. Feel Like It Stuck In Throat
four days ago i swallowed a big piece of a tortilla chip. I was gagging at first and made my husband do hymleck, drank lots of water and tried throwing it up with no luck. went in to er. they said i could have scratched my throat so it feels like it still stuck but ma not be. next day still bothering me feels like i physically feel it in there very uncomfortable. I ended up getting an infection in m mouth coincidently next day spo they gave me penicillin to treat and ibuprofen for pain. the problem is when i take the pills they get stuck in my throat and make me gag like something is blocking them from going down. i drank lots of water after and i the gagging stopped so pill went down im thinking but it happened again. what should i do go back in or wait for what they say will dissolve? its been four days already with no relief of where i feel like chip is still. help!
