Suggestion Of Cure For Wierd Sound In Ear After Having Cold

I had a cold last night and for the most part feel better however I woke up and it feels like there is some water/fluid stuck in my ear. There s no pain or ringing just a swooshing sound and movement of something in my ear. I ve tried a few things to fix it but nothing has worked yet.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for the query.
You are having Eustachian tube obstruction due to cold.
Start Steam Inhalation, Decongestant nasal drops , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , Antihistaminic levocetirizine , Antibiotic azithromycin for 5 days.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
