Hello

The outcome of a wound depends on the severity(depth, length, width) and any associated infection. Once the acute stage is over antibiotic cream along with aloe vera, kojic acid and sunscreen lotion will help to reduce the scar and darkening.Oral Vitamin C along with citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables also helps.
Consult your dermatologist for proper evaluation and treatment accordingly like some laser treatment or dermabrasion if needed.
Regards
