Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe back pain and I go to a pain clinic. I also have hepatitis C and my doctor wants to stay away from Tylenol based pain relief. I m currently taking hydrocodone Ibuprofen 7.5 -200mg, but it is ineffective for the amount of pain I m in. What would be a better, more effective pain medication for me that doesn t have Tylenol?
Use a local gel/spray along with oral tablet You can take Tab Rantac 150 mg (before food) twice daily with analgesic Tab Diclofenac 50 mg twice daily after food for 5 days.
