Hi,

I appreciate your health concern about your father. Your father developed chronic kidney disease due to hypertension and diabetes.

A good control over blood pressure and blood may stop further progression of the disease.

Regular exercise and yoga may useful. Eat plant proteins more than animal protein. Eat green leafy vegetables and calcium supplements.

Check for hemoglobin and serum creatinine regularly.

Continue above medications, if symptoms not improved or blood sugar not controlled please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
