Suggest Ways To Lose Weight

Hello Doctor, I am a 53 years old lady. I have undergone surgical menopause before 4 years in which both the ovaries were removed with uterus. I have gained 20 pounds after that and have not been able to loose it after much try. How can I loose my extra weight? Do I need HRT? unfortunately, the doctor who did surgery is now no more. Can you please help me? I will appreciate your help and advice. Thanks
