Suggest Ways To Gain Weight

Sir, I m 35 years old, height 5 10 and weight 55 kg. This weight constantly same over past 3 years. All of my brother, sister and my parents are healthy. It s my thinking, Comperatively my weight are below an average and quite awakard than my height. Here i would like to mention that usually i never feel weakness, sometimes my sleeps get disturbed at night(but it s occasionaly), and i m unmarried. Now i want to gain average weight according to my height. How it would be possible? Please give me suggestion whats i have to do first? Please help.. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

I can understand your concern.

First check T3, T4, TSH to exclude any thyroid dysfunction.

If it is normal then -
- Take High protein diet (about 65 to 70 gm) with 35 to 40 gm if fat and 2100 kcal diet.

For proteins you can have egg white, pulses, soya beans, Kidney beans, milk and milk products, non vegetarian food like chicken, lamb, fish.
You can also take ready-made protein supplement available in market.

Better to consult nutrition specialist for better meal planning.

As there is no weakness or other complaints there is no need for additional evaluation at present.
