Suggest Ways To Avoid Breastfeeding During Night

Hi Doc, My 18 months old daughter get's up 2 to 3 times during the night to feed on bottle milk. I give her lactogen. Please suggest how do make her sleep through out the night by avoiding feeding during night.

FYI: She seems to have enough for her dinner.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Your child is 18 months. Normally children at that age starts playing throughout the day and sleep continuously at night. May get up once. But not for food or milk, just for urination.

If this is not happening, that means, your child is not involving in playing or physical activities enough. Check and encourage your child to engage in these. Then wait for sometime for the new habit to set in. That shall do the trick.

For more psychotherapy techniques, You can post a direct question to me in this website. Include every detail as much as you can. I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques to control your condition. I am sure that the techniques should be a success.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
