Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How are you? I am a 63 year old female and college educated. I have just been thought over a year and a half of breast cancer treatment. I was very fortunate to have a complete resolution to the cancer. I am still being treated by my oncologist. My problem is I have totally lost joy in all things. I felt this coming on before the cancer diagnosis and now it seems worse. I just do not know what to do or where to go at this point. I enjoy very little any longer. I currently take Pristiq. I do want to stress one very important thing. I have no bad thoughts of suicide or any other harmful things. I have been treated by my doctor for depression for years. I would like to enjoy life again. Any light you can shed on this would be thankful. Best regards, Alice
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, because of the bad time you had gone through, your moral breakdown, but this is all over now, as you said that the bad disease over now, so why to worry, be happy and live the life as nothing has happened, change way of thinking, take care.
