Suggest Treatment To Get Skin Complexion Back After Dleivery

Hi,



I am a 35 year old woman . After my second child , I sharted to have severe skin problem- breakouts and diclouration. I used several medicines, but nothing worked till I finally started using Retino A and Benzoyl Peroxide. My acne have gone down drastically but my skin has become very dull and patchy. What is an effective way to get my complexion back?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems like you have inflammatory hyperpigmentation secondary to acne eruption and acne eruption seems to be due to hormonal changes that occurs during and after delivery..
I would suggest you to continue using the medications that you are using for pimples as they are appropriate and along with it you can also wash your face with salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing face wash.
For pigmentation you can apply Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin containing creams..
Apply azelic acid containing ointments..
Exfoliate your skin using a gentle scrub, use sunscreen lotion while going into sun..
Take Vitamin C supplements..
You can also go for chair side treatment at the dermatologist like Photofacial and chemical peeling..
