Suggest Treatment Required For The Following MRI Results
My mri as of may 2015 findings : the flair and T2 weighted images show a few scaterred areas of high signal intensity in the subcortal white matter. While nonspecific these may represent minor old is hemic changes . There is no evidence of of any recent infarcts or intracranial hemorrhages or any intracranial masses . Normal time of flight signal loss (flow void) is identified in the proximal major cerebral arteries and dural venous sinuses indicating their patency . I have chronic migraines since 18 yrs old up to 59 yrs old. I have high chlolesrol and tryclerides

The MRI report is suggestive of scattered areas of high signal densities in subcortical white matter which is non pathologic as by age related changes, previous issues of brain parenchyma or others. However, if the current symptoms are given in details, better clinical co relation can be carried out for the situation.
Rest measures for migraine would be:
- Acute attack of high intensity needs ergotamine or tramadol hydrochloride with acetaminophen
- Proton pump inhibitor with or without 5HT3 inhibitors if there is associated nausea and vomiting
- Avoid precipitating factors as stress, high caffeine
- Propranolol or others for prophylaxis of migraine attacks
