Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your sister is suffering from chronic vertigo which can result in frustration and stress about the look as in this condition your skin loses melanin, the pigment that determines the color of your skin, hair and eyes. Treatment for vertigo is to stop or slow the progression of pigment loss and, if you desire, attempt to return some color to your skin. Treatment options could be PUVA, Psorin, broad spectrum ultraviolet therapy. Drink plenty of water. If the patches are small color can be camouflaged with melanocyte transfer and re growing the skin over it. Grafting over patches and re-growing the skin done are other treatment options if it is over large area. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription as it varies from skin to skin sensitivity.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
