Suggest Treatment Option For Chronic Optic Neuritis
hi my daughter has chronic optic neuritis her neurologist ran out of options, the last treatment he put her on ketamine for five days to relief her of her pain, and prednezone for inflamation nothing has worked, she has been suffering for seven years, please help.

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be pure optic neuritis, some time it could be nonspecific because steroid works here and it gives excellent results, now in my opinion "Tab Carbamazepine 200 mg" can be tired once in day, and better to get done some test like MRI study, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
