Suggest Treatment Option For Abdominal Discomfort

Good evening Doctor. Just asking regading Abdominal Discomfort, (Fullness feeling), in my left upper side, in my Rib cage. If I push it with my fingers, no pain felt, except that discomfort feeling. Tried to move my Bowel, but only some gas. Any observation? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fullness of the abdomen/bloating can be due to different possible causes such as: (1) constipation
(2)reflux
(3)lactose intolerance
(4)food intolerance
(5)celiac disease
(6)use of gas producing foods such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, turnips, brussel sprouts, beans

You can try avoiding or reducing the use of some of the foods mentioned.

In addition the use of medications such as pepcid, zantac, nexium, prilosec, prevacid, may help.
One of these.

I hope this helps
