Suggest Treatment For Yellowish Blisters After Finishing Dose Of Amoxicillin

My son was on amoxcillan for an ear infection. He finished his medicine last Friday evening. We went to the pool Sunday and now he has a bad sunburn even though we used sunscreen on him. Today he started to blister clear/yellowish blisters. Is it urgent to take him to the doctor or wait it out? He is in pain and I am giving him ibp. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The yellowish blisters are probably due to the sunburn. I recommend using aloe vera aftersun cream for local application. I also suggest giving him Tylenol for the pain. Cool showers can be helpful in relieving the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
