Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection

I have a question about yeast infections for men and women. My wife has been getting them reguarly for at least a few now. We are not sure why this happening. I am a 33 year old male and she is 36. the only medicines I am currently on are Crestor for high chol. I also take Lechithin. I feel bad for her because she says the pain is unbearable but I do not have any symptoms. Any help would be great

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. It is better to have a vaginal swab to rule out the infection. In case of yeast infection clotrimazole cream (monistat ) application will be helpful. If this is not helping then oral fluconazole weekly once for one month along with local clotrimazole will be helpful. Using intimate wash regularly on genital area is also helpful in normalising vaginal bacterial flora and PH. This will help you prevent from getting further infections.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
