Suggest Treatment For White Spots On The Face And Arms

Lately I have been getting these white spots on my face and arms ( some of them have flecks or bumps of white spot near them). My mom took me to the doctor about it but all he did was prescribe me a cream instead of telling me what it was. The cream is Micospec anti fungal cream. I use it twice daily( as he told me to do) but lately the amount of white spots have been increasing and getting bigger. Am i doing something wrong? ( I go outside a lot in school)

Hello, welcome
As per your explanation i think you ptryiasis versicolor which is a fungal infection.
1st of all You keep these precaution in mind
1. Dont keep the area wet at all . Use powder frequently to keep it dry
2. Avoid itching and don't scratch it
3. Change the under garments
4. Don't apply and general or steroid cream like betnovate etc
5. Don't stop the medicine once you cure. Continue medicine for long time to completely kill the fungal
6. Avoid excessive sweating and wet cloths
7. Check diabetes and thyroid it is really recurrent even after proper treatment.
Now treatment part
1. Ketoconazole cream+ tab fluconazole 150 mg twice in week for 2 month
