Suggest Treatment For White Patches On Corner Of Lips
Hi Doc, I have found tiny white dots like patches on the corners of my lips. I am very much stressed and can not decide which specialist to reach. Who can resolve my problem soon? What are they exactly and what should I do to get rid of them. Please help me out. Thanks
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain white patches /dots at the corned of the lips can be due to fungal infection causing Angular chelitis which can also be due to mineral deficiency of iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid. It can also be due to Herpes virus infection causing cold sores..
You need not to worry as the conditions are treatable and consult either an oral physician or a dermatologist so that he/she can do a clinical evaluation and give a confirmatory diagnosis so that treatment can be planned accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
