Suggest Treatment For White Lumps On Gums Post Dental Procedure
I just had a couple fillings last week, but also drink hot coffee regularly. A small bump that's the same color as my gums appeared last night. It's not quite on the uvula, but it's on the left side. I took a closer look just now, and two smaller white bumps were also toward my throat. Should I be concerned?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of white lumps on gums post dental procedure which seems to be due to improper hygiene of that area and due to allergic reaction to filling materials which is leading to infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper examination. Doctor may order X-ray for proper evaluation and may prescribe antibiotics for at least for 10 days. You should take combination of Metronidazole and Amoxicillin for 5 days. Do warm saline rinses and rinses with antiseptic mouthwash. Maintain oral hygiene to prevent further food debris and bacterial accumulation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
