Suggest Treatment For Weight Loss And Excessive Urination?

Two issues,54 female 5 4 100lbs., has lost weight and muscle mass in her legs the last couple of years and is having a hard time walking any kind of distance? Now she presently has a hard time urinating and needs to catheter herself to go? Dr. checked blood, and gave her an ultra sound and found nothing for this and said it s mental? told her to relax and prescribed valum? I don t understand and now she says it could be early signs of ms? she always urinated a lot? liquids would go right through her it seemed? Any insight would be helpful to me.

With the symptomatology sequence that u give , it seems the patient suffers from neurogenic bladder secondary to may be ms. U need urodynamic study to understand the nature of bladder behavior. Rule out urinary infection before the test.
With fluid restriction, anticholinergics like Tolterodine and Solifenacin, patient may improve.
Plz Follow with Urodynamic study so that I can guide u better.
