Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
rosuvas is a drug of stating group and stains are known to cause initial muscle damage but it is temporary. since you are taking rosuvas for last one and half years and weakness has started now it is less likely because of statins. your cholesterol is now normal because you are on drugs. it may rise if you suddenly stop drugs. There are many reason for knee weakness and one of them common in old age is muscle wasting because of knee osteoarthritis. You need to consult orthopaedic surgeon for detailed examination and diagnosis.
