Suggest Treatment For Weakness In Leg And Arm

i m 67 yrs aged having type2 diabetes Mellitus,since 15 yrs.recently i ve started human insulin 25 units in morning and 15 units at night.for last 3-4 months i m feeling weakness in my left leg and left arm. while walking i m limping on my left leg.plz suggest what i should do?

Hi,
Weakness in the elderly is due to malnutrition. If it is one sided, it needs to be investigated.
You would require a CT scan to rule out any stroke which might have not been major.
If no pathology is identified, supplements with Vit B complex and protien is necessary.
