Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of IBS for 12 years, on prescription based medication 1.ESOZ-40 MG,ONE DAILY,2.IBset-ONE DAILY,3.VSL-3,ONE DAILY,4.cap Rifagut 400mg-2 daily, 5.syp Dyrich twice a day,6.tab Zincovit-2 times daily; but have gases, weakness and inability to walk.
I would advise in such a situation the following:
Get the stool tested for 3 consecutive days.
Ultrasonography to see for gall bladder and other organs.
Get a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole as it may kill the gas producing bacteria and also get probiotics in proper dosages.
Find out the foods and beverages that are instigating or enhancing the problems and stop then altogether.
Take Activated charcoal tablets.
Control over the anxiety and the stress is a must to get a relief and to stop the associated aerophagia.
I find this answer helpful
