Suggest Treatment For Water Infection After Sexual Intercourse

Hi I had open myomectomy surgery 3 weeks ago today but had sexual intercourse with my husband twice after only two weeks. I now have a water infection my G.P says but I wondered could it be an infection of the womb as the antibiotics the doctor gave are not working for water infection and I am still in a lot of pain ?

Hi,

I didn't clearly understand what do you mean by water infection. Is it through drinking water or leaking of water from vagina? I assumed that you may have discharge from PV may be due to incomplete recovery of wound or vaginal irritation or PID, etc.

Get done discharge culture and sensitivity. Avoid intercourse until completely healed. Please get an ultrasound abdomen and local examination. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
