Suggest Treatment For Wasp Sting On The Wrist

I was stung by a wasp on my left wrist Friday a.m. A bump appeared, I applied alcohol, washed with soap and water, scraped with a card and applied cortisone. The bump disappeared. I applied ice anyway. I did not experience much pain, nor itching. This morning there is some redness, itching and a little swelling in the area. Is there something else I should do?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You should not scratch the wound. Keep it as it is.
If you scratch it, it will show inflammation and swelling.
So don't do anything. This kind of sting go by its own.
Apply ice packs only.
You should watch for increasing swelling, pain, itching etc. If any of these appear then consult doctor. Otherwise, no need to worry or do anything.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
