Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Chills And Fever

My husband has been sick the last 24 hours with a headache, vomiting, chills, fever (100 - 102) body aches, diarrhea. He was traveling all week for work. He is resting and taking over the counter meds for the fever and headache. Is this the flu? He gets a flu shot every year.
